Clement Njoroge is a development and communication professional with a passion in using his organizational, media and communication skills to enhance development and contribute towards improving the lives of people in communities by addressing social justice concerns. 

Clement has over 10 years experience managing development programs in the Civil Society Organizations and the media sector.  His has deep experience in establishing networks and collaborating with private corporate, civil society organizations, learning institutions and government agencies and media as key partners in enhancing development. 

I has previously worked as editorial Manager of The Big Issue Kenya magazine, a social enterprise whose aim is to create job opportunities for homeless/street young people.   At Cesvi, an International humanitarian NGO, he developed a communication strategy aimed at strengthening the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities for a child Labour Free Certification for corporate companies in Kenya. 

Currently, he serves as the Country Liaison Officer for Panos Eastern Africa (PEA) in Kenya. His main task is to contribute in the development of PEA’s strategic plan and ensure that the operational plans and strategic plans are met according to schedule. Over the past 4 years he has successfully managed a  ‘Media Agency for Child Protection project,’ aimed at building the capacity of local media and Child Protection Agencies and a Climate Change issues that aims at building the capacity of local communities to adapt to climate change and local media to contribute to efforts in support of a climate resilient society in Kenya. 

Ones in a while, he contributes OpEds on topical social issues for local media. Clement is passionate about Child Protection issues and is a volunteer facilitator on online child safety to Children, parents and teachers through schools and places of worship.  

Clement is a graduate of the Catholic University with a BA in philosophy and religious studies, Postgraduate Diploma in Development Project Planning, certificates in media studies having completed my MA –Media Studies from University of Nairobi.
